Matthew Bird is a local designer and design historian, currently Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at RISD. He teaches studio classes, metal shop classes, and industrial design history.

Meg is a Jewelry Historian and Gemologist living in Portland Maine. She received an MA in History of Decorative Arts and Material Culture from Bard Graduate Center in New York City where she authored a monograph on the Jewelry Manufacturers Oscar Heyman & Bros. She is a Graduate Gemologist, Gemological Institute of America Appraiser and the assistant to a Master Goldsmith.
